2025 Tree Clearance Pruning Project
The Hamptons community-wide tree pruning project will begin on March 24th and run through mid-July. NorCal Tree Management crews will start work around 8 AM each day in each designated zone. Please ensure that your vehicles are not parked under or near trees between 7:30AM and 4PM to avoid any disruption.

March 24th - March 28th
Zone 2
March 31st - April 4th
Zone 3
May 23rd - May 30th
(Note: Crews will not be working on May 26th in observance of Memorial Day)
Zone 4
June 2nd - June 6th
Zone 5
July 7th - July 11th
NorCal Tree Management, a certified arborist, will be pruning front yard and common area trees according to industry best practices and standards. Please note, shade is protected under the City of Sacramento's tree ordinance, so the arborist will not remove all limbs overhanging rooftops. Instead, they will ensure a minimum clearance of 3-5 feet above the roof to prevent insect access, avoid damage from rubbing against the roof or building during wind or storms, and reduce the weight on limbs above the roof.

The arborist does not perform the Red Circle as this is not allowed per the City of Sacramento Ordinance and it damages the tree structure and can increase the risk of tree failure.
